Juniper Corner is the East Bay’s only nonprofit indoor playground, offering a beautiful space to play at an affordable price!

We are open for daily drop-in play, and we are always eager to host birthday parties or field trips!

Juniper Corner’s playspace is located at 1900 East 14th Street, right in downtown San Leandro. It features over 5,000 square feet of child-led play, including a turf field for active play, mini town for interactive imaginative play, a foam cube pit, book nook, craft and building areas, baby zone, outdoor yard, low-sensory room, and a cafe. .

Our space is designed for children ages 0-5, though kids up to age 10 are welcome. Children must be accompanied by an adult guardian; Juniper Corner does not offer drop-off childcare.

Community Pop-Ups

Juniper Corner got its start hosting immersive play pop-ups around the East Bay. We had to scale back these events to focusing on launching our indoor space, but look forward to getting back out to a community space near you!

Interested in booking Juniper Corner for your community event? Please email eve@junipercorner.org. Kindly note that we do not currently have the capacity for mobile private birthday parties, and we are not booking community events July-September 2026.

Our playspace staff are enthusiastic, helpful, responsible and kind. We are local educators, students, parents and community members ready to keep our space safe, clean, welcoming and fun.
